Lovely, helpful staff from front desk to the guy who heard me when I mentioned a broken hook on the bathroom door…which was replaced with a new one by the time I got back that evening… and the housekeeper who left a new bottle of lotion when I mentioned the one in the bathroom seemed very low or empty and an extra blanket when I requested it. I just wish I’d thought to ask for more coffee as I’m sure it wouldn’t have been a problem! Comfy bed, lovely linens, tho even though I chose to upgrade the room it was still pretty small….errrr “cozy!” Nice cafe and tempting pastries! Would definitely stay at ArtHouse again.

Service

Staff was lovely but rooms had a few quirks that required multiple changes. Blinds are operated with a chain that doesn’t work well and on site “engineers” are unable to fix them. Some beds were fine but others need replacing. I changed rooms 3 times during my 4 night stay but they were very accommodating.

I was really disappointed with my stay at the Art House Hotel. The rooms are much smaller than expected—especially the bathroom. For two people, it’s extremely uncomfortable: there’s barely any space between the bed and the wall, so getting to the closet or even getting dressed feels like a struggle. The water pressure was awful—so weak that you can barely rinse soap off. We politely asked customer service three times to check it. Each time they told us it was “fixed” or “checked,” but nothing changed. It honestly felt like they didn’t care and didn’t want to solve the problem or help at all. Another downside: there’s no fridge in the room unless you request one, which should be standard at this price point. Cleanliness also wasn’t great—the room wasn’t as clean as it should be for what you pay. Breakfast was also misleading. It’s advertised as “complimentary for $15,” but it’s basically just one coffee plus one croissant or one bagel, nothing more. On top of that, you have to wait in a long line—at least 30 minutes—so don’t expect a real breakfast experience. The only positive is the location, which is great—but only if you’re using the hotel strictly as a place to sleep. Otherwise, I don’t recommend it, and I definitely won’t be returning.

We had a wonderful stay at the Arthouse! Great clean spacious room, bar/coffee shop in the lobby, yummy restaurant right next store. Super convient for a show at the Beacon Theatre. I will definitely be back!
