We had a pleasant stay at Spring Hill Suites. The staff there were very nice. The room was spacious and very clean. We were of walking distance to shops and only a 7 minute drive to downtown area. We also appreciated the complimentary breakfast buffet. If there’s an opportunity to go back to SLO we would definitely stay there again.

Unexpected airport noise , bottom floor is very noisy. The breakfast is included but the food is not very good. On a positive note, the hotel is new and very clean.

The reason it's 4 stars and not 5 is because the room was noisy. The bathroom ventilation fan which is outside the room is loud and on all the time. I had to sleep with ear plugs. The engineer explained there is no way to turn that off because that is main ventilation for the roll of rooms in that floor.
