広々としていて、特にお風呂が広くて清潔でした。ただ夜中にトイレに起きた時、急な階段を降りるのが少し不便でした

お盆を過ぎた時期に、金曜日から1泊させてもらいました。 鬼のオブジェの真後ろのメタルのいうお部屋でした。 チェックイン、チェックアウトは備え付けのタブレットから。 少しアワアワしましたが、割とすんなりできました笑 お部屋はとても、清潔でスタイリッシュ‼️ テンション爆上がりでした。 ただ、強いて言えば、お部屋に入った時、1階は涼しかったのですが、2階が異常に暑く、クーラーを付けてもなかなか冷えず、クーラーを入れていてもらえたら嬉しかったということと、鬼のオブジェは夜も煌々と電気がついていて、（障子窓を開けるとすぐ鬼のオブジェの裏側)夜もずっと明るく、カーテンなどがあれば嬉しかったです。 それ以外はほんと素敵なお部屋でした！ ありがとうございました！

お部屋、すごーく良かったです！ 綺麗だし、サウナも良かったし、浴室もひろびろしてて。 また利用したいです！

I stayed at GOKAN KOTOHIRA (metal room) for a few days during a work-holiday trip to Kotohira, and it turned out to be exactly what I needed. I was looking for a place that felt homey and comfortable — somewhere I could properly focus on work while also exploring the area — and I honestly couldn’t have chosen better. The balance between comfort, location, and convenience was perfect for this kind of trip. The space itself was large, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with all the amenities I needed to settle in and work efficiently. It truly felt like a temporary home rather than just a place to sleep. The check-in and check-out process is fully automated and extremely easy, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The check-in room itself is actually one of the highlights of the property, featuring a striking giant oni head that immediately catches your attention — definitely one of the architectural highlights in the area. The location is another major highlight. It’s close to the main sightseeing spots in Kotohira and within easy reach of the station, which made quick day trips to nearby cities simple and convenient. What made the stay even more special was the kindness of the staff. They kindly allowed me to check in an hour early on a rainy day, which I deeply appreciated, and they also helped arrange a taxi for my departure. Small gestures like these made a big difference. Overall, it was a memorable and comfortable experience. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kotohira — especially if you’re combining work and travel.
