Front desk was great help

A very nice room, beautiful bathroom, helpful staff, and a fine cafe. The only down side is the the cafe closes at 10pm. Otherwise, it's a hidden gem.

I just recently stayed at The Society in Portland and had a horrible experience with the housekeeping entering our room and being extremely incompetent. In the booklet in the room it stated room service UPON REQUEST. It also had a sign on the wall stating that if there were items on the bed they would not change the bedding. They entered the room with the do not disturb tag on the door and changed our bedding, but moved our personal items when it says in your rules that's not allowed. Then we returned to a sheet on the bed tucked over the comforter and underneath the pillows and the rest of the bed, which looked like they had taken the comforter. We didn't realize this, so we talked to the front desk, who gave us extremely uncomfortable blankets. She stated she would check the cameras to make sure we were not charged for said comfortable. We eventually realized that the comforter was UNDERNEATH the sheet, which makes zero sense without letting us know.

The staff were super friendly and helped in a sticky situation. Very appreciative. The rooftop space was lovely. I just wish food and drinks couple be delivered up there lol
