We arrived in Taiwan early at around 6:00 AM, so I booked a room a day in advance to rest right away, especially since we were traveling with a baby. Upon arrival, we asked if a family room (which we booked for our 3-night stay) was already available, but were initially told the hotel was fully booked. We stayed in the standard room first so our baby could rest, and shortly after, we were pleasantly surprised when the staff upgraded us to a family room to avoid the hassle of transferring rooms. Overall, our stay was great. The location is excellent, with direct MRT access in the basement and plenty of nearby restaurants and shops.

The room itself was dated… carpet was old and musty. The bathroom was completely outdated with a n old yellow colored bathtub that looked like it’s been there since the 70’s

The hotel staff were truly wonderful—very kind, professional, and accommodating. My main concern, however, was the mattress in my room. It was extremely uncomfortable and felt like sleeping on plywood. Housekeeping kindly tried to make it more comfortable, but unfortunately it remained very hard and stiff and resulted in sleepless nights throughout my stay. I am not sure if this issue is limited to room 1626 or if it is more widespread, but I strongly feel the mattress needs to be replaced, as it greatly affected the quality of rest during my visit. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback. I appreciate the service your staff provided and hope this concern can be addressed for future guests.
