Firstly have to say the hosts of the Dukes Head are friendly warm nice people who certainly made the stay much better than it could have been. Considering how nice Wokingham is it wouldn’t take much to update the rooms and make a massive impact - they really are tired and desperately in need of renovation- everything in them is just ok functioning but not outstanding in any way - I was only there for one night and probably wouldn’t want to stay longer - nice friendly pub attached and lots of places to eat close by but do think if you are looking to book reminded me of a hi-de-hi chalet. Breakfast is freshly cooked and very nice

Just a pretty run down village sports bar. Not what i was expecting from the Experdia discription or indeed the price!

Staff is very nice, I cannot complain. But all is dirty, insecure, stinks in weed, mouldy walls, bedding had hair, few left overs from previous customers in the bedroom, 'decoration' falling apart, cob webs, big potholes on parking lot... could go on listing it all. With the new hotel on the other side of the road, you will really need to step up your game if you want to stay in business. With a bit of love, loads of paint and some deco from poundstretch, you could already make it worth the money. But the way it is, I would not return.

Had a beer in the bar 1st customers and staff ok shame about there LGBT thoughts . When got to my dusty room no heating it was cold n damp .although they turned it on . Though would show my mates on FB pics and lack of heat . THE OWNER POSTED if cold go get a curry . Paint missing on loads places . For £70+ would expect more . They place needs a tart ip and tlc which is lacking . I like to stay in small places not the big boys if find some where. But this clearly wasnt it . Oh if was a lady travelling alone dont go the car park lights weren't even working and was very dark . Please buy some paint and bathroom mold cleaner and spend a day in each room . Is that to much to ask . Or lower the price. Didnt stay for breakfast but from comments I seen checking feedback last night the food is good . Sadly the kitchen was closed last night

Conveniently located, Property has charm, however dirty bathroom, poor shower facilities, broken TV remote. Needs updating!!
