La habitación estaba llena de cucarachas — una en el escritorio y otra dentro del armario. A las 2 a.m. no había nadie disponible para ayudar, ya que el alojamiento funciona con self check-in. Pasé la noche sin dormir, con las luces encendidas, y sin ninguna solución por parte del anfitrión. Inaceptable para el precio que cobran y para un alojamiento que pretende tener cierto nivel. No lo recomiendo bajo ningún concepto. Terrible experience. The room was full of cockroaches — one under the desk and another inside the wardrobe. At 2 a.m. there was no staff available to assist, since the property only offers self check-in. I couldn’t sleep all night and received no help or response from the host. Completely unacceptable for the price and the supposed standard of the accommodation. I would never recommend this place. Esperienza pessima. La stanza era piena di scarafaggi — uno sotto la scrivania e un altro dentro l’armadio. Alle 2 di notte non c’era nessuno disponibile per aiutarmi, perché la struttura funziona solo con self check-in. Non ho dormito tutta la notte e non ho ricevuto alcuna assistenza dall’host. Assolutamente inaccettabile per il prezzo richiesto e per il livello che la struttura pretende di avere. Sconsiglio vivamente questo posto.

Pros: Safe entry, working AC, and the location is great. Cons: The room really needed an upgrade and was dirty. The tiles on the floor were loose so they would move around/stick to our feet every time we walked around and we’d have to re-lay them. As for the bathroom, there was an old loofah (not ours) and a used bar of soap (not ours either) in the shower, which shows it hadn’t been cleaned properly before we checked in. The sink also leaked onto the floor every time we used it and the shower head wouldn’t stay up. Lastly, the wifi wasn’t great either.

Fantastic location if you are going to the opera or if you want to be right in the city centre. It’s. 3-4 minute walk from Verona Arena and you can easily walk to Juliet’s Balcony, the main Piazzas and lots of restaurants/cafes. The check in was super easy and communicated clearly. Everything is self-service, with fast WhatsApp support if needed. If you are a solo female traveler, it’s fairly safe and the area is safe to walk at night and quiet. I was unsure about sharing the apartment with strangers but it was absolutely okay and nobody disturbed each other. You can hear the keys turning and doors closing etc but that’s normal for a flatshare. The bathroom was clean and spacious. I had the single room and it was basic, but it did the job and matched what I paid which was very low compared to the other options in Verona. The only negative for me is security. The single room opens up to a balcony which can be accessed from the main entrance and there is only a shutter and not a particularly secure door. There was also a lot of loud noise from some kind of machine on the balcony and the water pipes. I also think the place could do with a revamp as it’s very old-fashioned. However, there was AC, Wi-Fi, a TV, towels, and a clean bed. I slept well and had no issues. Overall, I would recommend it!
