We had a great time during Merry Meritage. The kids enjoyed I’ve skating right outside and the fire pit with snores. Service was great, but Olive and Hay seemed short staffed during breakfast. Food and service there was very good once we were seated and served. Would stay again.

My husband and I were checked into a dirty room and then we were offered a room in a different building expecting us to move our luggage in the rain. After an hour we were finally given a clean room.

This property has exceptional service, very clean and accommodating and tons of things to do while wandering around the property. The complimentary bottle of wine from a near by tasting room as well the spa Terra are a great way to start your stay.

am 54 years old and stayed here over New Year’s weekend to visit a friend in Napa. I booked a suite so we would have a place to gather, but it was a waste of money. At 10:00 PM on Friday, six of us were sitting at the conference table just talking—no music, no partying. Management sent security to our room three times. Each time, security saw us just sitting there and had nothing to say, yet they kept coming back. We eventually resorted to whispering in our own suite and still felt harassed. The walls are paper-thin. The next morning, I could hear every word the housekeepers said in the next room. I realized the bed in the adjoining room is placed directly against the wall where the conference table is located. If you plan on having a conversation past 9:00 PM, do not stay here. The layout is a massive design flaw, and the "security" response was overbearing and unnecessary for a group of adults simply talking. Total disappointment.

I stay at Meritage at least four times a year. I bring several families and we’ve always enjoyed our stay. However our last trip was a nightmare, the check in was over an hour and several persons in our party had issues with reservations and the system not matching the confirmations. Needless to say, most of our guests were frustrated and we missed our ice skating reservations, but were able to be accommodated at a later time. I didn’t even bother with the spa, I will likely look for another hotel for our annual family getaway. Too bad, we’ve been coming since 2020!
