Unable to gain access, the number that you need to contact 24 hrs before is out of service. We tried to find apartment using google maps as it said they had a concierge but could not locate the apartments. Had to find alternative accomodation. Very stressful. Looking at review this has been hapoening a lot needs to be taken off site
we were unable to get into the flat that we payed for. we tried and tried to contact the owner but there was no answer. we had to book into a hotel in the end.
phone numuber isn.t useful, no one answer
waste our 2hours to wait. Finally, change another hotel. so bad experience.
The name of the property is not Brighton Beach Apartments, but Where to Sleep Brighton Green Diamond. There is no reception or information provided, we eventually had to go to a phone shop to collect the keys. There is a long list of problems - no toilet seat, 2 towels for 3 people for a week stay, not enough kitchen utensils to cook. The dishwasher stank. We had to wash everything in the kitchen before we used anything. No tea towels, bin bags, dishwashing liquid, w/machine soap. TV didn't work. No promised WIFI, bedrooms were so tiny we had to climb over each other to get into bed. No coffee table or cupboards etc so we had to live out of a suitcase in the living area and use chairs as side tables. Homeless people living in a tent outside the building door were helpful with info re parking, which was very expensive. The apartment was expensive for the week's stay, and we were extremely disappointed as it had the potential to be very nice with some thought and cleaning.. From reviews I have since read, this has been happening for quite a while.
The green diamond hotel is suppose to be child friendly, but there is homeless people living all over the place , the room we stayed in was a wreck, had no toilet to use as the seat was snapped off and we asked the landlord to sort it out on the day we arrived and the " caretaker " never turned up, still waiting for expedia to contact me about this! I am not happy with the amount of money we paid for such a run down hotel we might as Well have stayed in a homeless shelter for 2 nights at least we would have been able to use the toilet !
