Very easy check in, the property is gorgeous and well maintained, the house is very clean, and the area is beautiful with lots of variety for eating!

It is at the best location ever, close to coffee shop, pizza restaurant, ice cream store, near by beach. I had only 2 issues, internet was not working (I am a tech guy; so I am 0 sure it is on their side) ,and it was extremely dusty place.

The manager was awesome! Made us feel welcome. Answered all our questions and was patient with us. Best value in SoCal for the views and the square footage they give you. Will definitely be returning soon.

Oceanfront Hacienda is such a hidden gem! I used to live in SC and I can honestly say this is in the top 3 best places to stay. We stayed in the Grotto for one night and it exceeded our expectations. They have done a great job of keeping the old charm of the property, it’s obvious that the owners really love it. The area is so charming and very walkable, with several dining options and a great coffee shop. The beach, SC pier, and SC train station are right across the street. Things to be aware of: 1. The parking can be tough, especially in the summer. The terrain is very hilly so be prepared to potentially have a bit of a hike to and from your car. 2. The Saturday morning we were there a trash truck was doing its rounds around 7:30am, it was obnoxiously loud. 3. If staying in the Grotto, there is another unit above you. We could hear them walking around and dragging things across the floor. So if you are a light sleeper like me then bring ear plugs. All in all the pros outweigh the cons by a long shot. If you’re looking for a quintessential CA beach vacation without breaking the bank then this is it.

I really love the property , our room was very comfortable, the inside reminded me of my grandmas house , the bed was great and the kitchen was perfect for us
