We’ve stayed in Ubud over 10 times and tried various places. This villa had great reviews, which is why we booked it, but overall it felt a bit overrated. The location is peaceful and surrounded by rice fields, though the sunrise is on the opposite side of the hill, so mornings are quite shaded. Breakfast is simple and served on your terrace — nice touch, but very basic. One thing to note: nearby restaurants close by 8pm, so late-night food options are limited and a bit of a walk. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, we did notice a lot of ants in the rooms and the pool was quite cold.

I enjoyed my stay here, up a narrow path and away from the hubub of the main city center, still close enough to get in easily though. The staff were accomadting and so lovely. Good breakfast. All the facilities I needed, pool, kitchen. Spacious rooms and good patios.
