The resort is abt 20m from Phuket old town n abt an hour min from Patong. It’s dated and old. The one day we were in the room when the cleaning lady was there. She put the vacuum cleaner on to clean the outside patio which has trees all around and bird droppings etc - I stopped her from cleaning outside bec she was going to use the same vacuum cleaner to clean inside - she then cleaned inside and proceeded to use the vacuum on the table surfaces! Then went back to the floor and side tables. That is not hygienic and we put our belongings on those tables etc. That’s unacceptable. She did not use a cloth to wipe the surfaces - table, counter etc. The counters were dusty. The couch in the room was old, the cushion was sinking and stained. Amenities were not replaced- the one day the shower gel was out. It’s not the quality that used to be associated with the Westin brand. Service in the breakfast restaurant was slow especially the egg station. Even the tea / coffee took time. The all inclusive option isn’t worth it. It was quite a disappointment. The beach is down many stairs and it’s a narrow strip which is also pebbly.

The place is wonderful, a lot of greenery, the sand beach right below the hotel. Two swimming pool, 3 restaurants, perfect for us. Golf carts available if you don't want to walk between your room and the activities... And we've been upgraded (I wanted a suite with the sofa bed upstairs instead of the sitting area next to the bedroom). The only downside in the room was the noise from the A/C...it is an issue in most of the hotel I went to.
