26.06.14Great - location, helpful receptionists, washing machine, kitchenette, ironing board, water pressure
Not so great - the lift takes forever to come as it is serving 42 stories. The hotel lobby is not obvious at all. The chairs in the room looks dirty (stained).
26.06.11We booked this hotel at a very reasonable price, especially compared to our stay in Seoul, where we paid significantly more for a much smaller room with fewer facilities. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the basic amenities we needed. The bathroom was modern, and having both a balcony and a kitchenette was a great bonus. The kitchen came with the necessary utensils and cutlery for two people.
One small improvement would be to provide basic cooking essentials such as salt, pepper, and sugar. Even if guests plan to cook something simple, they would at least need salt and otherwise have to purchase it separately.
The location is excellent. The hotel is directly opposite Exit 7 of Haeundae Station, with the main Haeundae street and bus stops right outside. We could even enjoy views of the lively Haeundae street from our balcony.
The room also included an iron and ironing board, which was very convenient. Complimentary drinking water was available throughout our stay, so there was no need to buy bottled water outside.
The only downside was the elevator situation. During checkout, the lifts were extremely busy, and after four consecutive full elevators passed our floor, we eventually had to carry our luggage down the stairs from the 10th floor. This may be something to keep in mind during peak hours.
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel, especially considering the value for money it offers.
