The little cabin was cute but it smelled like mold/mildew. The hotel didn’t have my reservation which I had booked and paid for months prior. Tried to charge me again for the room but I showed the receipt and all was good. Once that was sorted everything was fine… minus the smell.
I had a crazy thing going on and the owners helped me get through it with great understanding and patience.
The room was clean and neat, and I've lived on the road for work for many years. This place was amazing for how little was charged. I will absolutely keep it on my list!!!
Walls are scratched up, part of trim is missing, the TV didn’t work right and there was a t-shirt on the back of the warped bathroom door. For over $200 a night, it’s way over priced.
There were many issues with this hotel. I stayed in a “cottage”- a glorified shed with electricity and running water. The rooms attached to the office may be different.
It smelled like mildew and the bathroom had a strong odor of cat urine.
There was no hot water. Zero hot water. Ice cold shower.
I was charged for an extra guest even though I was staying solo. Their own website states they take Discover, but the rude woman at the desk wouldn’t accept it upon check-in.
Way over priced, smelled horrible, rude staff, no hot water for showering.
Don’t stay here.
Pro's:
- Convenient
- Easy parking, can park right in front of room for easy unloading
- Lots of dining options in the area
- Relatively comfortable and clean room
Neutral:
- Price is expensive! But seemingly competitive for this area
Con's:
- TV, which was no bigger than a large computer monitor, did not work (BIG con)
- Refrigerator, also very small, did not work (cold food from my cooler was ruined as a result)
- Room needed alot of cosmetic repairs (paint peeling, moldings cracked)
- Room/ 'cabin' was VERY small. No table or desk would fit other than the stand for the broken TV.
