Staff friendly, room clean, beautiful pool area

Just seemed very run down need up date hot tub wasnt even hot jets didnt work

The staff at night when checking in was very rude and behaved as if i was disturbing him. When i walked in he was on a couch talking on the phone watching football. Then after checking process he argued with me about having a 3rd person in the room. I explained i booked for 3 as we have our daughter. He then went on to yell at me saying it's anyone smokes in the room it's a $250 fee. We never discussed smoking. He showed me a nap of the hotel and was telling me how to drive to the back and use that door as it was closest to our room. Half way through explaining it, he said are you paying attention. I watching him draw on the map of course i am. We pull around and none of the parking spots were treated for the ice. Thankfully we didn't fall, but we had to carefully maneuver over ice as a fall was inevitable. We changed for the pool and go to pool that is open for another hour. All the lights are off and he is irritated because again i interrupted his phone call and game. We go in and the hot tub is lukewarm. We didn't use the jets as that would have cooled it more. There was only 1 towel in the pool area so we shared it and went back to the room. There was dirt and scuff on the walls of the room and the paint was peeling bad. The paint was peeling in the pool area as well. There's more but not enough room.

The desk attendant was short, demanded "license" and then "credit card" followed up by "room 220, elevator down there". The wall behind the front desk has water damage, the walls have chipped and peeling paint, the entry is over perfumed, second floor smells like drugs, there was mouse droppings in the room, toothpaste dried on the wall, and more chipped paint and dirty smudges on walls.

There was virtually no hot water from the sink or the bathtub. The handle on the bathtub faucet came off.
