Expedia totally dropped the ball. We showed up at the hotel and were told there were no rooms left. No attempt from Expedia to contact. Completely unacceptable.

The room was nicely clean, the staff were all very kind and friendly. The bed was ok, but slightly uncomfortable. The breakfasts were excellent! Healthy food choices. Special berries every day. The furniture in our room was quite frayed, with the edge of several chairs having many strings hanging from the upholstery. The bathtub/shower did not have even 1 rail to hold on while in the shower. Not good for seniors. I appreciated the nice suite to use for our 5 day stay while visiting family in Oceanside.

AC did not stay on all night, kept shutting off and room was terribly hot throughout the night. The blanket and sheet were very rough as if laying with sandpaper.

was located under the floor of the reconstruction on the4th floor. Noise from the workers made my dog bark constantly. I called and asked if the workers would be there on the weekend and was told "NO". BUT AT 7 AM THE WORKERS STARTED WAKING US UP. This after being up past midnight. Asked to be moved, but they couldn't at that time. Had to talk with supervisor of the workers and tried to speak to the manager (no manager on site on the weekend). Had to threaten to call the police to have them stop.
