Due to COVID-19 the hotel was forced to close its restaurant, bar, coffee Bar and valet service. Crazy circumstances but staff was super nice as always.

It’s overstated for 4 star, the room is ok The decor is so muted and linen did not seem welcoming, complimentary soaps are made for economy but room rent was high compared to other hotels around. Biggest disappointment is the gym which is outside property, the checkout process could be better too.

The Ace Pittsburgh had a very different 'vibe' than the typical chain hotel, which we liked very much. The room and bathroom were large, with a comfortable platform bed but a more modern /'industrial' feel. The lobby coffee bar and restaurant were active and filled with music and younger (20's) customers. the only thing that was surprising was that, fo an old YMCA, there was no on-site gym or pool.

I really like this chain/style of hotel. Stylish but comfortable. Good beds, great staff and common spaces that are great to be in.
