26.04.28This isn’t your standard hotel—it’s more of an Airbnb-style apartment, which actually works really well for a family stay.
We stayed 7 nights as a family of four, and the space was quite generous by Japanese standards. The unit is fully equipped: kitchen with stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, utensils, pots and pans, plus a good-sized fridge. There’s a washing machine (no tumble dryer, just spin dry) with detergent provided. Bathroom amenities are complete—soap, shampoo, conditioner, toiletries—and even dishwashing supplies are included. There’s also a garment steamer, which is a nice plus.
We saw reviews about hot water issues, but we had no problems at all—just follow the instructions and it works fine.
Location is excellent. You’re just a few steps away from Nipponbashi Station, which connects you easily to major train lines, and only a short walk to Dotonbori. Konbinis are super close—7-Eleven and FamilyMart are just around the corner—and you’re surrounded by shopping and food hubs. It’s also conveniently near the airport limousine bus stop from Kansai International Airport to Namba, which made arrival and departure much easier without dealing with luggage on trains and stairs. There’s even a nearby sento, which is a nice bonus, and it’s close to common bus meeting points for day tours (e.g., Kyoto/Nara via Klook or Gogoday).
Only minor note: since it’s not a hotel setup, there’s no daily cleaning, and there was a bit of dust under the beds even at the start. A vacuum cleaner was provided but didn’t work, so the floor did get dusty by the end of our stay.
Overall, great location, spacious unit, and very complete amenities. A solid choice for families or longer stays.
