This is a very very basic room, no comforts, very thin duvet, only 1 set of low quality towels
no toiletries in the room.
I feel.i wasn't properly advised regarding a change in my booking.
Staff at travel lodge wanted to visit their property whilst ill and testing positive for Covid., potentially infecting rhein staff and other guests who may have health conditions
No point in recommending this hotel as it is closing on 31st July to become student accommodation
Ensure you don't get a front facing room.
There is a night club opposite. You can't hear the music, but you can here the screaming and shouting of all the neds outside when there smoking etc. Noise didn't stop till well after 3. Was during the hottest recorded temperatures in the UK whilst I was there. And having to shut the window (could still hear, but not as bad), just meant a sweltering nights sleep until could open after the club shut.
Rooms have no aircon.
We are just back from staying 3 nights in travel lodge Justice Mill in Aberdeen.
When we arrived and went into our room the smell was first thing we noticed...a dirty stale musty smell. I had to go and buy air and fabric freshener and antibac wipes and clean everything before we touched it.
The heat was unbearable. We had the window open and a fan going the whole time we were there and were told all the rooms are like this! But no explanation.?
We were so disappointed but probably should have known something wasn't going to be good, as it was so cheap, we just thought we were getting a great deal! would be very wary of booking a travel lodge again.
Also there was no cafe or bar open due to 'staffing issues' which was also disappointing. Apparently it's closing end of July , probably just as well.
