Malacuna Birmingham

I have stayed here several times now and the first time was great. The second two times were both cancelled on me at last minute by the hotel due to overbooking leaving me with no alternative accommodation. The most recent time, having booked a private room with a private bathroom I had to go to reception at 11pm after a long day at work feeling dirty and grotty and just wanting a nice hot bath. No hot water. At reception I was told that the private rooms currently had no working hot water and that if I wanted a shower I would have to use the communal showers. When I stated that I had booked a private room specifically because I wanted my own bathroom I was told well you have your own bed and aren’t sharing so that should be enough for you. Won’t be returning.
