콜로네이드 호텔 런던

1 star is not the rate for Colonnade Hotel. Is for hotels.com platform!!! The reason is that I had 3 nights booking for 2 persons (23-26 December). We went to the hotel at Tuesday 23 Dec. around 7pm just to see the hotel CLOSED and a note attached in the main door saying that the company went into administration (insolvency), leading to an immediate closure (1st photo). I booked another hotel nearby, and contacted hotels.com (via website chat) explaining the situation, and ask for refund (as it was in 2nd paragraph in the note). They said that they will contact the hotel (which is closed, and no one will answer!) to check. Finally I received an email from hotels.com saying "After multiple attempts to contact the property on your behalf, we were unable to obtain approval for a waiver. Based on this, the original cancellation policy will apply." which means NO REFUND!!!

The second time I've stayed at this hotel. Rooms are clean and tidy, and only a short walk from Warwick Avenue Underground station and Little Venice. Behind the hotel is a bar/off-licence called 'Real Drinks', lots of different beverages you can drink in or take away, and a superb pub called 'The Prince Alfred'.

I absolutely LOVED my stay at The Colonnade. The staff was very friendly and helpful and my room was great! There was plenty of hot water when I showered, housekeeping was great! The hotel was conveniently located to the Warwick Metro which was literally 2min away or an easy maybe 15min tops walk to Paddington Station. The area was safe and quiet and had some great restaurants and an amazing pub literally just around the corner. I can’t wait to come back
