I really enjoyed my stay at the IHG in Hayman Island. The break was nice and just what we needed to relax. The hotel staff were super attentive and I could not fault them- from nice personal touches in the room, Christmas gifts and much much more they really did individualise the stay. The facilities in the hotel were excellent and liked how the complex was spaced out. Though at full capacity, you never felt like the hotel was crowded. Though I would not class it as a disappointment, I would argue that the food outside of breakfast was slightly over-priced. The quality and quantity of the food did not match the inflated prices. Understand we are on a remote island. Other than that amazing experience.

Staff are amazing, accommodation was beautiful and food was divine. A luxe experience all round. Only gripe was the visa surcharge when settling the bill and the weekend surcharges at the restaurants, which seems unnecessary especially as they don’t take cash so no other way to pay. When you’re spending so much, this seems an over the top charge.

The whole resort was tranquil and mesmerising. The offerings were brilliant with how everything was thought for us as guests. Just take yourself for a memorable and fun holiday!! The staff was onboard efficiently, professionally & friendly. Thank you Hayman...Debbie

The room was incredible. We stayed in a suite on the second floor and the view over the pool and to the ocean was gorgeous. The whole resort is really beautiful and well maintained with plenty on offer. We also made the most of private cabana dining one night and private beach dining another night which both served absolutely incredible food and beverages.

I expected more for a premium resort at $1k + per night. Only 2 restaurants were good - Amici (Italian) and Bam Bam (Asian). Pacific and BBQ was average. The Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. The swimming pool was a highlight. Clean and huge. Pool food at the Aqua restaurant was good. The room was average- stained carpet, broke tiles, mould in the bathroom - but very spacious. The gents toilets in the resort were out of order for most of our stay which was is not acceptable.

The resort needs some love and is ridiculously overpriced. EG Went to the gym four days - there were no towels available for three of those days/ Were sent an email saying we would have drinks and canapes on the boat over - no canapes in sight
