What a wonderful stay with Diamonds Athuruga! Every aspect of the trip was phenomenal, from the service, to the dining, to the Villa, to the reef, to the facilities! Nothing could be faulted. Absolute bliss and serenity x

I stayed in Diamond Athuruga in late October with my family. This is a small island and it is perfect if you wish to have a quiet week or two of rest. We loved the food, the beaches and the people working there. Special mention to Mohammed who always remembered our drinks, Amun’s who welcomed us to the resort, the chefs working to prepare the delicious food, Rasheed and Gabriel, one of the staff members there. Everyone there was a pleasure to deal with. We enjoyed the swimming and the snorkelling. There is a great coral reef there with a drop where the water is much deeper. We saw turtles, wild dolphins, nurse sharks and a sting ray. The only negatives are that there is no WiFi in the beach bungalows, there is a lack of entertainment in the evening and no pool or a gym. I still very much enjoyed our stay and would go back in a heartbeat.

We have been to other resorts and this is hands down the best resort in the Maldives. Everyone we talked to raved that the reefs and resort are the best around! They cleaned our room twice a day. They designated a person to pick us up and take us to the airport. Everyone was beyond friendly!!
