It was great value. Clean and convenient. Food was delicious . People were friendly. A/C didn’t work well in one bedroom and we couldn’t get TV’s to connect to any streaming service and could not cast.
The villas are very or below average. The hotel area has been updated and more modern. There is nothing in the kitchenette ex. Dishes, cups, not even paper towels. The staff only resticked the mini bar fridge twice in 6 dats even after calling the front desk multiple times. The views are beautiful, but the villas leave much to be desired.
Beautiful location and wonderful people who worked there
Beautiful beach! Great service , everyone of the staff were very friendly. Food was good , nothing amazing but good. They could improve on food that is grab and go. Everywhere you sit down and have a server. We would have loved to get a burger or a pizza and sit on the beach with it. But definitely worth going for the beach & pool!
Review of Wyndham Grand Cancun
We recently stayed at Wyndham Grand Cancun and had an overall wonderful experience. Here's a breakdown of our time there:
Pros:
The resort was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay.
Our villa was spacious and well-appointed, offering a comfortable and convenient stay. Its location, close to the beach, was a definite highlight.
The beach was pristine, with plenty of lounge chairs available for guests to relax.
We also received outstanding service, particularly from Sergio and Enrique in the restaurants. Sergio was incredibly helpful with a couple of small scheduling issues, ensuring that our vacation went smoothly. Enrique, whom we met at the Italian restaurant, Da Vinci, added a special touch by helping us reminisce about our first visit to the resort 30 years ago on our honeymoon – he was working there at the time!
Cons:
The internet service was inconsistent, and we experienced complete lack of signal in much of our villa. Additionally, Verizon customers, like ourselves, may face weak and unreliable service on the resort grounds.
Food-to-go options were limited. For example, if part of our group wanted sushi and others wanted burgers, we had to visit each restaurant separately instead of being able to bring food from one location to another, even if they were just a short distance apart.
We were also surprised by the additional fee for room service, which felt excessive given the all-i
