We booked the royal select option (via Expedia) and somehow ended up with VIP and butler service which has been a surprise and a delight. The food is great, there is an adult-only pool, and there are many quiet spots to catch the sun and enjoy the view. Our butler (what a thing to say!) Alejandro was absolutely wonderful, and our breakfast waitress Alicia was kind and remembered our diary-free order for eggs! The staff are super friendly, our room was gorgeous and the gym was well equipped. The first resort I've been to that I'd actually come back to. You also have to do the chichen itza day trip. Thank you so much!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Staff was incredible and very attentive. Food was spectacular. Perfect for low-key vacation spot. We loved having the butler services that would schedule our reservations for dinner book sun beds for the beach and for the pool and also provide us with Anie answers of questions we had about events throughout the day. Alejandro Butler was amazing.

It’s advertised as “Adults Only” BUT IT IS CERTAINLY NOT ADULTS ONLY !! There is an adult section , and only 1 hot jacuzzi and there was tons of children in there. The food was not good, not nearly as much Mexican food as I’d like to see. The night time buffet was disappointing and ended up you t back for room service . The resort itself was nice and staff was great .
Stayed in an ocean front villa and the experience was 4/5. The room was nice but living room a/c didnt work and it wasnt fully resolved throughout the stay. They offered another room but we declined.
The shower drain needed unclogging on day 1, and it left an unpleasant scent in the room for the rest of the stay.
The butler (Alex) was very nice and the staff was mostly friendly. The food options sufficed for the week stay and the room service breakfast was good.
The plunge pool was great to rinse off in, and the room is more spacious than the pics imply.
We would return despite the inconveniences. The villa is outside of a clean beach with marked swim points close by. The beach is very shallow and the villa blocks out a lot of noise well
