Overall we enjoyed our stay at Memmo Alfama Hotel. I loved how it was tucked away but near everything. The hotel entrance is inviting and sleek, I loved it. The staff was very attentive from start to finish. The breakfast was fantastic and could not be missed! I'm still impresses that breakfast was included as it was a great breakfast with many items for all. The views at the hotel was jaw dropping and we could not wait to take pictures. The #28 rides through all day and you can hop on at any time, jusT, WOW! The room was a bit small but cozy at the same time. However, I was not a fan of the bathroom as the lighting was too dark and there was an off and on stench coming from the shower area in the bathroom. That was very disappointing, I would love to stay at the property again, however it would have to be a room with a fresh smelling shower area. The view from the room was beautiful, but it was way too cold for the heated pool which was not heated in my opinion. I gave this hotel 4 stars because I think it could be a really great hotel if some issues would be addressed.

Memmo Alfama is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in in Europe. We loved our time there. The staff were friendly and helpful. The decor is pleasing and well thought out. There’s a nice little gym and pool; everything immaculate. The terrace is a great place to sit with a drink any time of day and particularly at night looking over the city. Excellent breakfast in a cosy breakfast room. We recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.

Beautiful room, very friendly staff, quiet and comfortable. The location is close to many great restaurants and scenic locations. The breakfast was fantastic. Definitely worth rebooking!
